Showing Up in My Skin, Anyway

Writing has always been where I sort through my life. It helps me slow down, untangle my thoughts, and make sense of the emotions that don’t always have a clear place to land. These pieces aren’t perfect or neatly tied together. They’re honest. They’re vulnerable. They’re the real moments that have shaped me.
Some reflections come from the trail, from the coast, or from places far from home. Others are written quietly from my couch after a long day. They all carry pieces of my journey through healing, growth, grief, and rediscovery. Nature, travel, and everyday life show up often because they’ve been the places where I’ve found the most clarity.
By sharing these parts of myself, I hope you find something that feels familiar too. A reminder that healing takes time, that growth isn’t linear, and that we’re all learning to move through life with a little more compassion for who we’ve been and who we’re becoming.
