    This was a great first trail to do in March because it was shorter, there was barely any snow, it had ocean views, and I only came across two people the entire time I was there. It isn’t much of a trail but you can see Maine’s rocky coast line here, casco bay, and many islands in the distance. This trail was perfect for a random adventure to get out of the house.     Hedgehog Mountain

    This was a short hike with minimal elevation gain. It was a nice trail to do in early March as Maine was slowly coming out of winter mode. It is easy for beginners and kids, plus it has as a good summit view – especially if you’re looking to catch a sunset. Overall, I would hike this trail again. It is a good hike to do as a beginner or to just get outdoors. It also would be a perfect running trail, if you’re into trail running. I think that…
